National Public Health Week is an opportunity to educate the local community about the Challenge topic, as well as what entrepreneurship is and how it can be used to solve community health issues. This event joined a series of national events that focuses on healthy communities.
Following a community breakfast, the Challenge hosted a keynote address titled, “Intersection of Entrepreneurship and Community Health.” The audience also participated in an interactive presentation by two healthcare startups.
Special thanks to New York State Senators John E. Brooks and J. Kemp Hannon for providing opening remarks.
